Control Firefox Tab Performance with Tab Mix Plus

Firefox has an incredible number of add-ons that may improve performance and enhance use in the classroom. One of my favorite is Tab Mix Plus! The developers of this add-on describe Tab Mix Plus as “Tab Mix Plus enhances Firefox’s tab browsing capabilities. It includes such features as duplicating tabs, controlling tab focus, tab clicking options, undo closed tabs and windows, plus much more. It also includes a full-featured session manager” (Reyes, 2010) You can literally take control of your tabs and their performance in Firefox in ways you never imagined. When presenting in a classroom, the performance and academic impact may be greatly improved! Tab Mix Plus may be found at: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1122/ or by searching Firefox Add-ons.

If you haven’t yet explored Firefox Add-ons and the variety of free tools that you can add to your Firefox browser, please do! You’ll be amazed a the options available to you! You may find the Firefox add-ons at: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/.
